    _______

Q: What did playing for the Miners mean to me?

A: Throughout my time with these coaches and teammates, I built many strong connections that will last forever. It means so much to me that I was a part of this team that taught me a lot about not just football, but what it means to be a team player.

Q: How did playing for the Miners help my athletic career?

A: Miners FB laid down the foundation for my high school and college career. These coaches do a tremendous job teaching young athletes about the interworkings of the game, and how to be a smart player. When playing against athletes from out of state (mainly Texas), it was a pivotal moment for my confidence level as a young player. Miners taught me that I can excel, regardless of who's wearing the opposing jersey.

Q: What advice would I give young players considering becoming a part of the Miners?

A: Go for it! If you truly want to succeed and grow as a football player/athlete, this organization will take you there. Just know that it won't be easy, but what you put in is what you get out of it.

Q: What is my favorite memory/thing about playing for the Miners?

A: Hard question. Honestly, the most memorable part of being on the Miners was the practices. They were difficult, but going through hard times with buddies makes it way more enjoyable. The road trips were fun too, so many laughs with great guys.

Honorable Mention: Listening to any conversation between Coach Hughes, Coach Lo, and Coach Meech.

    _______

“Playing Miners Football meant a lot to me because it helped me become a man, a great football player taught me lessons it brought great people into my life.

Advancing my skills helped my mentality; it was good to get out of South Dakota and travel and play teams around the Midwest and more.

It’s a great organization; they teach more than just football, and it feels like a real family.

Going to Tennessee and winning a national championship even though we were slept on cause we were a team from South Dakota. Being around the parents and friends, creating memories at every tournament we went to.”
